Here are my March pages ready to go, in my moleskin watercolour book. First I painted the pages with purple, green and blue watercolour, putting a bit too much deep purple on the top left hand page at the start, so I had to try to add a bit of darker colour on the right hand page too. As an experiment this time, I drew the boxes for the days onto the pages first, before adding any paint. Not a bad result, I think, but I accidentally gave myself space for day 32 at the end - so I'll have to write a bit extra at the end of March! Then I stamped using the Craft Stamper Magazine March free stamp of a little castle, and a few other bits, and coloured the castles with sakura pens. But my purple glaze pen is running low on ink, I think, so doesn't look very good.
By accident, I seem to have come up with a running colour theme, an idea I like. January was painted in yellow, orange and pink, then February was pink, purple and blue, and March is purple, blue and green. So each time at least one colour has carried over to the next month. So I will carry on doing this and April will include green and brown, to go with the lovely new stamp for April.
I'm not sure the decoration on the March pages is complete - I might to have add something more. But I don't know what it should be yet !
Lovely, lovely pages - must try watercolour on mine to keep them lighter cos I'm working in a watercolour book too - same size - really awkward for photographing!
